April 2019 Index Returns

May is here so it means it's time for April index returns! 

  • All global equity returns (ex REIT) were positive in April.
  • Most fixed income indexes were positive in April as well with the exceptions of intermediate/long-term Treasuries and non-US fixed income.
  • On a YTD basis, all indexes are positive with the MSCI ACWI having gained 16% in the first four months of the year.
