What to Expect:
This is the call where things get fun! By this second call, your shared rep code will be set up and TD will have pre-assigned you 50 account numbers so you can seamlessly add clients and open accounts on the platform.
During our time together we'll review the process for adding clients and opening accounts. Then, we'll look into the different ways you can fund accounts, including bank transfers and ACATs.
This time will focus heavily on not just your steps, but also the client's experience with the platform. We'll walk you through each of the steps you take to create a client and open an account as well as what the client will have to do in order to complete these processes. By the end of our call, you will have a solid understanding of both sides of the experience.
How to Prepare:
- Plan to open an account for yourself, a friend or family member. Opening an account for yourself may be easiest so you can see the full client process play out during the call.
- If you're planning to fund an existing account, bring a voided check or bank statement to complete a bank transfer, or a full custodial statement (dated within the last 90 days) if you'll fund the account with an ACAT.
