The default option for statement and trade confirmation delivery is electronic in XYIS. As such, there are often questions as to how a client gets access to view or download their statements.
The client will need access to advisorclient.com, TD's institutional client portal, to view these documents. There are two ways a client gets access to advisorclient.com.
1. The client will receive an email from TD after their first account is opened with a welcome message from TD and an option to create an online account at advisorclient.com.
They will be directed to advisorclient.com from the email and will click the "Get started" button at the bottom of the picture below to start the process of creating their online account. Each client can link all of their accounts to their login so they can see all their info in one place. They will need to have their account number and zip code ready to start the process.
2. If you'd prefer to get this set up on your client's behalf, you can do that too! In Veo, you will click Account Management > Client Web Admin. From there you will see a list of all your clients and their accounts. Clients who have already set up an advisorclient.com account will have a User ID next to their accounts in blue. For anyone who does not have a User ID already set up, you can hit the "Create" link next to their name to set one up for them!
After clicking "Create", you will add a user ID, first and last name, and email address in section A. Then in section B you will add any accounts to the user ID so the client can view all their accounts in one spot, assuming they have more than one account. The final step is to select if they have trading permission on each account linked to their User ID.
After all the info is entered correctly, you will review, approve the info, and the client will be sent an email notification to let them know they have access to advisorclient.com!
We hope this helped you out! As always, if you have any questions or need help, email the XYIS service team at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (36) 301-7579. Thanks!
