Can a non-US citizen open an account on XYIS?

Yes, generally speaking, we allow non-US citizens to open accounts on XYIS. The applicant will simply need his or her proof of permanent residency in the US along with the completed account application. Unfortunately, even though we strive to open these for you, sometimes Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. has restrictions based on the investor's country of origin, occupation, etc. so we cannot guarantee that all foreign accounts will be opened.
