Charles Schwab - How to Deposit Checks

Charles Schwab offers multiple methods to deposit checks.  Checks may be deposited with the Schwab Mobile app, at a Schwab branch office, through the mail or online via Schwab Advisor Center.

Use the following process to deposit checks at a Schwab Advisor Services branch office.

The Henderson, Nevada branch office can accept deposits to a Schwab Bank High Yield Investor Checking® or High Yield Investor Savings® account.

1. Verify that the completed check meets all of Schwab's criteria.
2. Have the client(s) endorse the back of the check. Checks payable from an insurance, escrow, or title company require the endorsement of each party named on the payee line.
3. Present the check to a Schwab employee at the branch office.

Use the following process to mail check deposits to Schwab Advisor Services™ or Schwab Bank.

1. Verify the completed check meets all of Schwab's criteria.
2. Have the client(s) endorse the back of the check. Checks payable from an insurance, escrow, or title company require the endorsement of each party named on the payee line.
3. Using the deposit slips and pre-addressed, postage-paid envelopes provided by Schwab, mail the check to the applicable address:

   • If you do not have a mailing envelope, if you need to overnight the check, or for Schwab Bank High Yield Investor Checking® and Schwab Bank High Yield Investor Savings® accounts, use one of the following mailing addresses:

Schwab Advisor Center:

You can scan, upload, edit, and deposit checks online through Schwab Advisor Center into your clients' brokerage accounts using Advisor Check Deposit.
